This design/build/lease-back Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic located on 3.6 acres in Baton Rouge , Louisiana was successfully completed on-time with an eleven-month aggressive construction schedule.

Standing seam roof canopies on the main and emergency entrances aesthetically enhance this brick masonry exterior. An air-cooled water chiller was designed for this facility, and a total of fourteen roof top units service the HVAC requirements in this hot climate. With the recent heightening of security in government occupied buildings, many additional areas were upgraded for safety to offer staff, patients, and visitors the safe surrounding they deserve.

The functional, skylighted interior offers a floor plan that allows the patients a beautifully designed atmosphere while the VA maintains control over public access. Many upgraded and/or custom products were installed, including revolving casework the 1,800 square foot pharmacy to allow streamlined medication dispensing, with a large convenient waiting area adjacent to the pharmacy.
