Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic, San Jose, California

Brant Companies formed the division of VA Venture San Jose for the design, build, and lease contract awarded by the Veterans Administration on March 31, 1994, for an Outpatient Clinic in San Jose, California. Set upon 5.35 acres, this 71,800 square foot clinic site was chosen for it’s close proximity to freeways to allow convenient access to patients and visitors.

The exterior design was created with flair in an adobe-style to compliment the setting of the Santa Cruz Mountain foothills. The interior floorplan was designed with technical excellence to meet the interior functional requirements of the Veterans Administration. Energy efficiency, seismic conditions, and the ability to accommodate the interior needs of patients and staff were of utmost importance in the design phase.

Construction commenced in September, 1995, and a Certificate of Occupancy was issued by the City of San Jose in September, 1996. The end result was a start-of-the-art, beautiful medical facility to service our country’s veterans.
